Postpartum Services
Newborn Care Specialist
Newborn care specialists (NCSs) are trained professionals who provide in-home care for newborn babies and their families. Services typically include feeding, diapering, swaddling, and sleep conditioning.
NCSs also provide emotional support for new parents and answer any questions they may have about caring for their baby.
NCSs can be hired on a temporary or permanent basis, and many families choose to use their services for the first few weeks or months after the baby is born. This allows parents to get some much-needed rest and helps them feel confident in their transition to parenthood.
Postpartum Doula
A postpartum doula is a trained professional who provides support and guidance to new parents during the postpartum period. This can include everything from helping with breastfeeding and newborn care to helping around the house, preparing meals, running errands, and simply providing emotional support during this adjustment period.
Having a postpartum doula can be an invaluable asset for any new parent because they can help ease the transition into parenthood.
